The White House announced that they are planning on lifting the current COVID travel bans in early November, 2021. The countries currently affected by these bans are China, Iran, the Schengen Area, U.K., Ireland, Brazil, South Africa, and India. The Biden Administration stated that instead of restricting entire countries or regions they would require proof of COVID vaccination in order to enter the United States. Although nothing has been solidified yet, the CDC will provide more information as to who is exempt.
