The Department of Homeland Security announced that the United States will now allow travelers from Canada and Mexico to enter via land ports and ferry if they can prove they are fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus. Fully vaccinated individuals will be permitted non-essential (leisure) travel to and from the US, while non-vaccinated individuals are only permitted essential travel to the US. This will go until January 2022, at which point ALL inbound travelers will be required to show proof of vaccination to enter the US.
