March 1, 2022 is the opening day for the H-1B registration period for FY 2023. All applicants and petitioners must submit their online registrations by no later than noon Eastern on March 18, 2022. Applicants must have a USCIS account to submit a registration. Employers who do not have a USCIS account can create a new one on my.uscis.gov as of February 22, 2022. After the registration period closes on March 18, USCIS will notify the selected registrants by March 31, 2022. Selected registrants can file their H-1B petitions starting on April 1, 2022.
