USCIS announced that F-1 students will now be able to file for employment authorization (Form I-765) online when they file for pre-completion OPT, post-completion OPT, or 24-month OPT STEM extension. This only applies to F-1 students on OPT and if USCIS determines that an application submitted is eligible for a different category then they will deny the request and not refund the fee.
